You and I were the words that kept grounding my heart, capturing the undeniable truth that Ann is a direct, grace-filled gift from God in my life. I poured those feelings into the lyrics and arrangement, shaping a track for us to sing together as a true duet of our journey. As we tracked the vocals and brought the production to life, every take became a celebration of enduring devotion, shared faith, and deep appreciation for every year side-by-side. Our path together is a reminder of God's goodness, and this song stands as a lasting testimony to a love meant to carry us through this life and into eternity.

Before music became their mission, this duo was no stranger to the trials and tribulations of the world. The sudden tragic death of their only child  left the couple shattered and heartbroken. Let down by the church community in their greatest time of need led to questioning the faith they had always enjoyed. One went down a path of self destruction and recklessness, while the other was alone battling PTSD and depression. Darkness and hopelessness settled in…until Jesus radiated His light within and rescued them both!
